Her violet/lavender/periwinkle eyes and curly/wavy/hip-length tresses don't make her a MarySue either, I'm sure. As for her two-dimensional character...hey, at least she's readily portable. :D

Diana Gabaldon started the most recent "pro author exclaims about the immorality and depravity of fanfic (while fanwriting -- with side of non-con -- a RP into her work)" kerfuffle.

W*ll Sh*tt*rl*'s behavior during RaceFail09 was so trollish that at the time even his name would often be disemvowelled in blogposts referring to his actions.

I think there have been a bunch of imbroglios that big or bigger; these just came to mind as involving professional authors behaving, dare I say it?, unprofessionally... (I was barely online/had not plunged into LJ, yet still heard about the second writer's antics. Besides derailing, there was definitely very public outing of someone's RL identity, and there may have been no regret about subsequent threats of bodily harm. It seemed notably bad.)

I dunno, one day I looked at my profile and it was deleted! Mystery, that's what it is.

(It was made to celebrate the, well, all the things members liked about Rodney's private parts' private parts, but with humor i.e. it was never serious, nor were there that many posts to begin with. Still, as an idea it amused me, and stuff like that I tend to approve of. ;-) )
