I was making the new icon, when I noticed how good it looked big. Judge for yourself. :D





If I blow it up any bigger, it gets really pixel-y (pixelated?), though it didn't do that in the icon preview (where it was nearly the size of my head). How can I make my photos post sharp and clear, oh wise peoples of my internet?

Went to the Gardens today, armed with spare batteries and my laptop.  Was going to ask a staff member to help identify two plants from the last trip.  Figured I'd do it on the way out.  Oops.  On my way out there was no staff to ask, which means I lugged the thing around for two hours for no reason.  Even worse, it was my own damn fault.  :-)

this is what I did today

I went the the Missouri Botanical Garden.  "Wait, I've read this already," you say.  Nope.  I decided to go back to get the plant names I'd forgotten, and get more plant pix with my newly re-batteried camera.


My favorite shot of the day.  I was trying to focus on the back flower, and have the front one blurry.  Camera disagreed.  Camera was right.  Good camera.

this is what I did yesterday

I went to the Missouri Botanical Garden.  It drizzled for two hours before I got there, and for the rest of the night after I left, but not at all while I was there.  Which I appreciated.


My favorite shot of the day.  It came out exactly as I'd hoped it would.  And we all know how rare that is.
