I had a dream so weird, it woke me up. Well, that might have been a coincidence.
Stepsister Lee drove brother Kirk and I to (what I thought was) cousin Brian's house. Once inside, I realized it wasn't, as it was huge and posh. Yes, I've never seen Brian's current place, but in the dream I knew. :>
We all trooped downstairs to join the group setting up the grill for the cookout. And by that, I mean sister Cindy burning the coats and purses that had been dumped onto an armchair, waiting for them to get down to embers so the cookout (cook-in?) could begin. We sat around chatting for a while, then I noticed Cindy had gone (Lee, too), so I took it on myself to squirt more lighter fluid on the "grill". I should mention that the chair whose cushion the stuff was burning on never caught fire. Dreams = notphysics.
Eventually, we all went upstairs to discover that the living/dining area was now a column-lined hall full of folk sitting in chairs in rows, like a tv show taping or revival meeting. The encee was introducing all of Jeannie McKay's relatives to the audience while she watched fondly. Sadly, Rodney was not in attendance. Just as the announcer got to me (?), I noticed a tall, really tall, Ming Yao tall, cousin (whom I didn't recognize but still knew was a cousin) standing nearby. She had Crystal Gayle-length hair, red-brown as an old penny, but shiny like a new one. When I was done being introduced, I looked down to see Jared (yes, Padalecki) gripping one of my fingers. He earnestly assured me that ...something would turn out okay. Okay, then. Jensen stopped staring at the tall cousin long enough to add his encouragement.
That's when I woke up. Laughed at my brain and went back to sleep, pondering the dream the whole time I slept 'til I woke up and got up, three hours later.
If only Bones or Booth had been there, I'd have completed the whole collection.
