Day 6: What's a fandom that you wish had a bigger following?

All of the ones I read in, or will ever read in.

Seriously, though, I wish more of my favorite authors still wrote in SGA. A lot are still active, but in fandoms that I don't (currently) care about.

Also, I'd love to see more NCIS gen. Don't care if it's casefic, Tony leaving, or just a slice of life - as long as there's no so-called romance. (Unless Tony is paired with basically anybody from another show or an OC. That's fine...mighty mighty fine.)

I remember feeling desolate when so many authors I loved moved on to H50 from SGA. And then I got into H50, and they slowly left, getting into stuff I'd never pay attention to. ::sigh:: But hell, at least we've got some good fic in the meantime! :)

Yeah, I remember that.

At least that was a fandom we could sink our teeth into (esp. Danny's sweet and perky peach of an ass), but a lot of authors I like seem to be doing nothing but either Witcher or The Old Guard, and I just can't be bothered.

At least ~~all~~ most of that glorious fic is still out there for rereading and enjoying.

I say we blame the asshats who canceled the show to focus on their shitty Battlestar Galactica knockoff rather than turn it over to other showrunners. ::nods::

I know that feel. A lot of my fave authors have been lured away from SGA by other fandoms, and I hate to see them go. And I can't help but wonder when that's going to be me. (If ever?) Not sure what kind of fandom would be strong enough to break McShep's hold on me.
